Privacy Statement Hutt City Council (HCC) collects information from you when you sign up for a gym or pool membership. You can update this information in your Profile. When you create an account, we ask for your: • Date of Birth • Email Address To sign up for one of our memberships we ask for additional information including: • Name • Address • Phone Number • Health information • Payment information We use this information to: • Create and manage your membership account and payments • Provide important updates about our facilities • Provide information about your membership • Support your health and safety while using our facilities. • Optionally send you promotional material about the Fitness Suite, such as events and fundraisers. Providing your information for promotional communications is optional. If you choose not to provide it, you may miss out on information of upcoming events. We will still send you emails relating to your membership or our facilities. Your information is stored securely in council-controlled systems with access only to authorised staff. We manage financial information with our partner Ezidebit. You have a right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask to have it corrected if you think it is wrong.
